Autism & Neurodiversity North Scotland is a local charity that relies on support from the wider community to continue our support for autistic children, young people, adults & their families throughout the north of Scotland.
Donated funds enable us to offer & provide a welcoming & appropriate autism-friendly environment, a greater range of activities & outings, specialised play equipment, & resources that assist in the development of social communication & interaction skills & facilitate integration with the local community.
£10
can pay for art & crafts equipment for a play session or buy a small sensory toy such as Puffer Ball – a brightly coloured, soft, rubber ball which stimulates the senses and is ideal for children with Autism to play with.
£50
can pay for an outing at playscheme for 8-12 children or buy a PECS folder (Picture Exchange Communication System) – an alternative communication intervention package for those with autism who have little or no communication ability, enabling them to communicate using pictures.
£200
can pay for 4 hours of 1:1 support for a child, young person or adult, or buy a sensory light projector with liquid mood wheels – ideal for sensory environments where the slowly changing shapes of liquid & colour are extremely calming enabling children & adults to relax without the need to concentrate.
£1000
can pay for 6 sessions of 1:1 support at our playscheme, cover running costs of our minibus for one month or buy a sensory sound activated bubble tube which recognises defined noises made by the user to change its colour – encouraging children to be engaged & active whilst remaining calm.
Giving Online

Individuals & organisations can make a regular or one-off financial contribution to A-ND via our online fundraising page. We are registered on JustGiving, Crowdfunder & EasyFundraising.

Every single donation, no matter how big or small, really does make a difference to the lives of the people we support, with all the money contributing to the work of the charity.
​
If you are a UK taxpayer, we can also automatically claim an extra 25% in Gift Aid from the government on every donation at no extra cost to you. That means that a £10 donation can become £12.50. This makes an enormous difference so please make sure you tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK taxpayer.​
