Volunteers in Aberdeen and across the world have once again made an outstanding

impact this year and been a real lifeline for people and communities.

A-ND is delighted to join millions of people across the globe in recognising UNV -

United Nations Volunteers International Volunteer Day 2023 which takes place today on 5th of December 2023.

International Volunteer Day is held each year on the 5th December and recognises and promotes the incredible efforts of volunteers and thanks the 1 billion+ volunteers worldwide serving their communities every day.

It is an opportunity for volunteer involving organisations and individual volunteers to promote volunteerism, encourage governments to support volunteer efforts and recognise volunteer contributions.
