Employability Service

We were delighted to have been funded by the National Lottery, and now ABZWorks Development Grant, Aberdeen City Council and the Scottish Government to provide our Employability Service. #nooneleftbehind

This service will provide opportunities for autistic & neurodivergent individuals to meet one-to-one with our Employability Officer & attend group support for employment related matters.

Our Employment Service aims to support neurodivergent individuals with access to employment, seek suitable volunteer opportunities to build skills & experience & find suitable employment. Our Employability Officer will provide support in completing job applications, CV writing, job interview preparation & support with employers & access to local education & training opportunities.

How can it help me?

The service provides practical and emotional support to autistic and neurodivergent individuals who are seeking eduction, training or work opportunities, as well as supporting those already in work and looking to maintain their employment. This service is available to autistic and neurodivergent individuals who are 16 or older.

A-ND also provides advice, support and training to local employers.

Our Employability Service can offer guidance on recognising individual skills and strengths, completing CV’s, practicing interview skills and finding suitable employment.

How's it funded?

As our employability service is funded by the National Lottery and ABZWorks Development Grant, Aberdeen City Council and the Scottish Government, it is free for anyone accessing.  Funding is currently for an Employability Advisor for a 12 month period, for 24 hours per week and therefore spaces are limited.
