Employability Service

We are delighted to have been funded by the National Lottery for 12 hours per week for the next 12 months (as of May 2023) to provide our Employability Service.

This service provides opportunities for autistic & neurodivergent individuals to meet one-to-one with our Employability Officer & attend group support for employment related matters.

Our Employment Service aims to support neurodivergent individuals with access to employment, seek suitable volunteer opportunities to build skills & experience & find suitable employment. Our Employability Officer will provide support in completing job applications, CV writing, job interview preparation & support with employers & access to local education & training opportunities.

How can it help me?

The service provides practical & emotional support to autistic & neurodivergent individuals who are seeking eduction, training or work opportunities, as well as supporting those already in work & looking to maintain their employment. This service is available to autistic & neurodivergent individuals who are 16 or older.

A-ND also provides advice, support & training to local employers.

Our Employability Service can offer guidance on recognising individual skills & strengths, completing CV’s, practicing interview skills & finding suitable employment.

How's it funded?

As our employability service is funded by the National Lottery, it is free for anyone accessing.  Funding is limited to 12 hours per week & therefore spaces are limited.
